Educational Advising

Educational advisors (EAs) face a variety of challenges on a daily basis, and this exciting profession, which meets many organizational needs, can bring along its share of uncertainties. This training invites you to explore the diversity of the profession, in order to, among other things, clarify and better define the roles and responsibilities of EAs, understand their scope, clarify the boundaries of their intervention, and optimize their coordination. To highlight the daily realities of EAs, challenges and opportunities are addressed taking into account a variety of practice contexts, without aiming for exhaustiveness (professional development, programs, educational success). In sum, this training on educational advising helps situate the practice of EAs from a professional development perspective.
